Cup B because it is a poor conductor of heat.It comes with a ripple-wrapped surface and our hand will not be able to touch the whole surface causing less heat to enter our hands.
I dont agree with Ayushman. The answer is cup B. It is because if cup A loses heat quickly, it will also gain heat quickly as it is a good conductor of heat.
i think again it should be cup A because it is good conductor of heat...but cup B is poor conductor of heat and it keep the warm to the cup more longer! (:
i think they should choose cup b as lighter coloured object does not absorb as many light as a darker coloured object thus it will not let heat travel to it faster than the dark coloured cup a
I agree with Jo-Lin and Michelle. As cup B has a lighter tone and a ripple-wrapped surface it is most likely to be made of a material that is a poor conductor of heat and all materials that are made of poor conductor of heat do not let haet pass through them quickly and so the heat does not reach John and Peter's hand easily and so they hold their cups for a longer time.
I disagree with Aditya as cup A will loose heat quickly as the cofee is hot and at last will be in the surrounding temperature and from what the cofee will gain heat.
Cub B is better choice. Cup A will be hot quickly. Cub B have ripple wrapped paper. Which have air in between. Air is bad conductor of heat. The hand will not feel hot.
i choose cup B because it is ripple-wrapped so there is lesser contact surface area between the hand and the cup so thus, the hand would not feel heat of the hot coffee so quickly
