Task 1:We could use a sensor when we can put our hands under a tap, the water will flow.

Task 2:Automatic tap that detects movement near it.

We could use a kind of device which is almost like the light sensor, but different in the way that it would need a remote to on.

    Task1:
We could use the motion sensor. When the motion sensor detects movement, the water will automatic flow out of the tap. The water will automatic stop flowing if the motion sensor do not detect any movement.

  11. WE CAN PLACE OR HANDS UNDER THE TAP SHAKE OUR HANDS. THE MOVEMENT SENSOR WOULD SENSE OUR HANDS AND WILL FLOW ON OUR HANDS.

  12. Task 1 : We should put our hand under the tap.You can see somethingin the middle of the tap and that is the sensor. We should keep our hand near it and under the tap. the sensor will sense the movement and let the water flow.

  13. Task 1: We have to put our hands under tap which our hands have to be near the tap where there is a sensor then the water will flow out of the holes automatictly

  15. Thanks to all of you for your ideas. Great job!
Other than having a light or motion sensor at the tap, are there any other ways we can conserve water?

Perhaps we might want to look beyond the sinks and the toilets. Keep your ideas going! :)

  16. I agree with Gabriel, but I have another answer in mind.
A light sensor should be constructed underneath the tap. People more or less usually put their hands under the tap to wash them. As they place their hands underneath the tap, some light will be reflect off our skin (or flesh) into the light sensor. As soon as that happens, the tap will run and flowing down on our hands comes crystal clear water. After the person removes his/her hand, the light (lux) will decrease, and then the water stops flowing.

You should put a sensor near the tap so that when you want to use the tap, the water will automatically come out and you don't need to turn the tap to open it.
I think Gabriel Chin is correct.

we should put a motion sensor so
that we can save water. We should
also turn off the tap when we are
    not using it.

We should put a motion sensor under the tap so that when you put your hand near it it will on by itself.

When the motion sensor detects movement, the water will automatice flow out of the tap. If there is no movement, the water will automatice stop flowing.

  23. I think we should use the motion sensor. When the sensor detects movement, the water will flow out of the tap, when there is no movement detected,it will be triggered off.

We can use a sensor that can detect our hand movements under the tap and the water will flow out if our hand is under the tap or under the sensor. But if our hand is not under the tap or the sensor, the water will stop flowing. I agree with Azlin and Izz.

we can put a motion sensor under the tap so that when we put it under the tap. When the sensor is activated, the water would flow out but if we remove our hands, the water would stop flowing.I agree with Daniel and Izz

  31. We can place a motion sensor next to the tap. When we put our hands under the tap to wash our hands,it alerts the motion sensor causing the water to flow.I agree with Evan.

  32. We can use motion sensor as it is convinent and we do not need to it. When we put our hands infront, it will on by its self Julius 4/2

  37. If motion sensor is placed under a tap, we can wave our hands under the tap and the water would automatically flow. I agree with Khanh Dan that water will stop flowing when there is no movement detected. This will help us to conserve water.
